OUR STORY

Founded in 2011, A Dream Education has been a cornerstone for academic growth in Crofton, Maryland. Owner Jacquie Perdue, with a deep commitment to education, has built a center known for its personalized approach and strong relationships with families. With over a decade of experience, we continue to provide students with the tools they need to succeed academically and beyond.

This is a awesome place for kids to go and learn math and reading. This place is so special bc the owner, Ms Jackie is so hands on with the kids and their academics. Ms Jackie even takes the time to remember all the kids names and pays attention to each kids learning progress so she can give a personal raport to the parents upon leaving for the day. My daughter who is now 12yrs old has been attending Kumon since she was 3yrs old. She was enrolled in Math only. Kumon helped her with math tremendously bc she was able to grasp the basic building blocks(addition, subtraction, etc..) down first before moving on to other parts. She is now confident and in honor classes.

Our little ones have been going to Kumon’s reading and math program for over 5 years. Our first daughter who just graduated from 5th grade started Kumon in 1st grade and throughout her elementary school journey, she was always 2-3 grade levels above grade level. She made principal honor roll every
school year and is currently enrolled in the magnet/gifted and talented program for her new middle school. Kumon provides her with the structure and confidence that she can achieve anything through hard work and perseverance. Her little sister who just finished Kindergarten started Kumon program at 3 and a half years old. She is also excelling in school and is 2-3 grade levels above her current grade. Her Kindergarten teacher was amazed with her math and reading skills. She couldn’t believe that she was reading and writing at 2nd grade level. We can only attribute these results to the Kumon program. Jacquie and her team always work with our family to ensure that our little ones get the attention that they need. We have referred a number of our friends and neighbors to the Kumon program because it really does work.

From foundational arithmetic to advanced calculus, our math program is designed to build confidence and mastery. Students progress at their own pace, ensuring a solid understanding of each concept before moving forward.

Reading Program

From foundational phonics and sight words to advanced reading comprehension and literature, our reading program builds vocabulary, fluency, and critical thinking skills. Students progress at their own pace, developing the confidence to tackle increasingly complex texts.

Hybrid Learning Options

Our hybrid model combines in-center sessions with online learning, giving families the flexibility to choose what works best for their schedule. Students receive the same personalized instruction and progress tracking whether they’re in the center or learning from home.
